How to Use Your Gourd and Bombilla
1. Fill your gourd about 2/3 full of yerba mate.
2. Tilt your gourd to the side and let the yerba form a wall that rises at an angle to the top of the gourd.
3. Wet the yerba mate with cold water and take care to keep your wall intact.
4. Place your Bombilla (filter straw) into the yerba mate while holding the top with your
thumb. It should wedge into the yerba so that it does not move too easily.
5. Finally, pour hot water over the yerba mate and draw out your first infusion. Your first
draw can be very strong so you may want to spit this out.
6. Keep your water supply handy since you can get quite a few more infusions.
